Reflexion of the 5 minutes video
The interview was done at the client’s house at 4 pm.
During the interview, the client used verbal and nonverbal communication, his speech was clear, he made eyes contact, his body posture was straight sitting comfortable on the chair, he expressed concerns about his problems at work,
Some of the non-verbal communication included: nodding, looking down on the floor, the client appeared a bit nervous.
When I asked questions, the client was able to respond and explain what the problem was with his work. For example:
3 Therapist: Tell me a little bit about the situation?
You can write a little bit of background of the client in question 2.. you can say : that client stated “
Client: I’m an Architect and associate at awork. I have worked in the same practice for the past 20 years. I have always loved my job even though it is very demanding. Although it is challenging, I have never thought I would wish to leave or do anything else. Until recently. I have become quite unhappy and have the desire to quit or to do something else.
2) For question 2 the teacher said that he did not want a definition of the micro skill but

However, I when I asked questions, the client was able to elaborate with clear details in order for my to understand his problem.
• I Utilise the counselling skills for example, paraphrasing, reflective listening, questioning.
• he stayed focused during the 5 minutes of the role play.
